arthro aid formula was created using multi-stage laboratory tests. arthro aid is a combination of glucosamine sulphate, methyl sulfomethane (MSM) and a high dose of Epimedium extract rich in icarin (a natural flavonoid that stimulates the regeneration of bone and joint tissue).
The whole formula is complemented by comfrey extract and essential oils: rosemary, marjoram and clove.

arthro aid has been tested to confirm its effectiveness. The study compared the effects of icarin and bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2) on osteoblast proliferation (the formation and growth of bone-forming cells) and osteogenesis (the process of bone formation) in bone defects.
To study the effect of icarin on osteoblast proliferation, model cells were treated with arthro aid and BMP2 protein, which was used as a positive control.

The results showed that treatment of the model cells with arthro aid and BMP-2 significantly promoted the formation and growth of osteogenic cells (osteoblast proliferation).

Glucosamine sulphate is a natural building component of cartilage tissues and the intercellular matrix (the so-called synovial fluid).

Methylsulfonethane (MSM) reduces inflammation, pain, stiffness and swelling resulting from arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders. MSM is a source of sulfur used in the production of tissue-building amino acids.

Epimedium extract - we were the first on the market to introduce this ingredient into the product formula, containing biologically active Icariin.
